2. Products & Services Description

2.1 Product Range: We specialise in curated, often rare plants (e.g., Aroids, Japanese Acers, Ferns, Palms) and handcrafted, sustainable ceramics (indoor/outdoor pots). We also offer complementary accessories like fertilisers, tools, and plant care items.

2.2 Product Information: We strive for accurate descriptions and imagery. However, natural variations in live plants (leaf size, exact shape) and handmade ceramics (glaze, slight imperfections) are intrinsic to their beauty and are not considered defects.

2.3 Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale): To uphold health, safety, and our Sustainability at Heart principle, the following cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Fertilisers & Chemicals: All plant care substances for health and safety reasons.
  • Custom or Made-to-Order Ceramic Pots: As clearly noted on the product page.

3. Orders & Payment Terms

3.1 Order Process: Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We confirm acceptance by sending a dispatch confirmation email. All orders are processed within 1–2 business days.

3.2 Pricing: Prices are in British Pounds (£). We reserve the right to correct pricing errors.

3.3 Payment Methods: We accept Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal. Payment is taken at the time of order.

3.4 Shipping & Delivery:

  • Standard Shipping (£12.95): Via DHL/FedEx. Estimated delivery: 10–15 business days after dispatch.
  • Free Shipping: On orders over £50, shipped via EMS. Estimated delivery: 15–25 business days after dispatch.
Delivery times are estimates. Delays may occur due to customs. We ship worldwide, excluding some remote regions and parts of Asia (as specified at checkout).

4. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

4.1 General Policy: We want you to be completely happy. Most items can be returned within 15 days of delivery if unused, in original condition and packaging.

4.2 Your Responsibilities (Returns):

  2. Repackage Securely: Use original packaging. Mark the RMA number clearly.
  3. Ship at Your Cost: You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged/incorrect. Use a trackable service.

4.3 Refunds/Exchanges: After inspection, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 business days. Exchanges for items of equal value are happily facilitated. Original and return shipping fees are non-refundable unless we made an error.

  • Live Plants: If a live plant arrives damaged or fails to thrive due to its arrival condition, contact us immediately with photos for a direct resolution.
  • Damaged/Incorrect Items: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will arrange a replacement or full refund, including shipping, at no cost to you.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 Scope: The Palm Centre Store’s liability is limited to the value of the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of profit, plant loss after successful delivery due to customer care).

5.2 Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, major transport disruptions).

5.3 Care Instructions: It is the customer’s responsibility to provide appropriate care for live plants upon receipt. Our liability for plant health ends upon successful delivery in viable condition.
